Ditching work in Essex

This is a current job we’ve returned back to , cleaning and diging out all the ditches for the landowner. this shows how overgrown the ditches can become if not regularly maintained. We’ve been carrying on making sure all the land drains are running and blocked culverts are cleared aswell.

Ditching and allowing land drains to flow freely on agricultural land brings several key benefits. Properly maintained ditches improve field drainage, reducing waterlogging and helping soils warm up and dry out more quickly in spring, which leads to earlier access for machinery
